Gunfire Reborn Qing Yan Cleave Build Guide

- Advertisment -

If you play Gunfire Reborn and looking for a Qing Yan Cleave Build, this guide will provide you exactly what you are looking for, let’s check it out.

Occult Scrolls

Those are the occult scroll I found had a nice synergy, any other scrolls for increasing DMG is a bonus here. I did not get every scroll listed here in my run, but I did get Paranormality with Deadly Curse, my cleave did hit pretty hard.

R= Rare, L= Legendary, N= Normal

(R) Paranormality: Convert HP = 1, Armor = x2
(L) Deadly Curse: -75% HP, +75% DMG
(L) Reinforced Eggshell: -30% DMG Taken when HP > 0
(L) Gold Medal: Recover 15% Max Armor when using Primary or Dash Skill
(L) Back Up Shield: Recover 40% Armor when broken (10s Cooldown)
(N) Double Exhilaration: Doubled Secondary Capacity
(N) Devil’s Covenant: -75% HP; 2x Gold then +50% gold afterward
(N) Untold Effort: 50% chance to 2x consumption, and deal double DMG
(N) Snow Boots: Immunity to slow effect and -50% DMG taken from traps

Ascensions

Those in my opinion are all must have ascensions if you want to fight up close and survive. All that armor recovery helps quite a bit, +DMG withing range is a no brainer for a melee build with the +DMG cleave bonus when you are low HP.

[Jump Attack]
Level 3 Steel Armor: DMG taken convert into Armor after hitting an enemy with leap for 3s
Level 3 Regen Hit: Regain 100% Armor on hit or miss when leaping

[Martial Art]
Level 3 Withing Range: +120% DMG to enemy within 12 meters

[Hack Attack]
Easy Kill: Higher Cleave DMG with lower HP
Level 3 Max Cleave: Max Cleave +10 and restores 3 attempts on kill
Level 3 Defensive Cleave: Regain 30% armor for each enemy hit + Regain 60% Armor and -2s cooldown for each enemy killed with Cleave
Level 3 Death Mark: Leave a Death Mark for 5s, enemies with Death Mark take +50% DMG. +30% movement speed for 10s for each kill with a Death MarkThat’s all we are sharing today in Gunfire Reborn Qing Yan Cleave Build Guide, if there are anything you want to add please feel free to leave a comment below and we’ll see you soon.

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips

If you play Gunfire Reborn and want to know how elements works, this guide provides a cheat-sheet to new players quickly understand elements at a glance. Let’s check it out.

The Sheet

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips

Notes on Various Elements

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
Burning enemies steadily take damage over time. It’s straight-forward enough, but this makes fire particularly beneficial for groups of fodder enemies without shields or armour – a single proc of Burn can deal a great deal of damage to a target without you even needing to put yourself into line of sight of it.Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
Shock hits the target with a small area-of-effect zap and inflicts them with a debuff that causes them to take 10% more damage from all sources.
10% is more than it sounds, that’s roughly equivalent to your weapon’s damage being +1 level higher against Shocked targets.

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
Decay decreases the target’s movement speed by 50% – the immediate observation is that this is particularly good for melee targets that rush you down – keeping them away from you and keeping the pressure off.
Another important part of Decay’s value is any target at all that moves – even if it’s not particularly fast – will be much easier to track when slowed, indirectly boosting your damage by making it easier to hit their head other crit spot. This is especially apparent on projectile-based corrosive weapons such as Aura of Venom and Prism.
Crown Prince (that’s the cat boy) has smoke grenades that deal powerful Corrosive damage that makes for a very easy way to proc Decay in a small area. To make the most of these benefits, prioritize Ascensions such as Acidominance and Elemental Rage to greatly improve your effective damage from smokes, Backpack Expansion to boost how often you can spam them, and at least one rank of Hex Smoke to further debuff targets.

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
A target inflicted with both Burn and Shock suffers from Manipulation. Manipulation, at least on paper, turns the target friendly and makes them start attacking their allies rather than you. The AI doesn’t exactly seem great for this – sometimes they don’t attack at all and I don’t really tend to notice much damage coming from them. It’d be easy to write this off as a pretty useless fusion, but the key words to pick up from its effect would be the words ‘rather than you’.
The power of Manipulation comes not from them fighting their allies, but from them not fighting you. This gives a great reprieve from more threatening foes and buys you precious time to clear fodder, reposition, or just rinse through their health without needing to worry about dodging their attacks.

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
A target inflicted with both Burn and Decay gets hit with an Explosion. Unlike all of the other effects and fusions, Explosion is not a status but rather a single proc of an area-of-effect damage tick.
The power of Explosion, Burn being particularly effective on groups of unshielded and unarmoured targets and Decay having an AoE proc right in Crown Prince’s kit with various associated buffs means that combining fire and corrosive damage is incredibly strong when dealing with groups of enemies. Acidic Explosion and Hex Smoke are Ascensions that add even more damage and AoE, allowing fodder to be cleared far far into the game even with scrolls and weapons that aren’t ideal for it.

Gunfire Reborn Elements Cheat Sheet And Tips
A target inflicted with Shock and Decay is inflicted with Miasma, and Miasma is the unparalleled king when it comes to straight damage per second.
Miasma deals a relatively low damage damage-over-time effect on its target, which spreads to nearby enemies and gives them an even lower damage over time effect. However, this damage stacks – you can repeatedly apply Miasma on a target and its friends over and over (I’ve read that it caps at 9 times). And once you’ve stacked Miasma a few times, it is an absolutely ridiculous amount of damage that utterly shreds through health.
Many players prioritize their builds to proc Miasma as much as possible – a common goal as Crown Prince is to find a reliable Lightning weapon to combine with his corrosive grenades and taking whatever scrolls, inscriptions and Ascension that maximizes the chance and effect of getting both Shock and Decay onto as many targets as possible.

Miasma is almost a better version of fire – on top of inflicting both Shock and Decay, it deals greater damage over time than Burn and frequently better area-of-effect output than Explosion. While the playstyle you should prioritize depends heavily on both your weapons and the various ascensions and scrolls made available to you, setting your sights on Miasma early on is rarely a bad idea.

Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

If you play Gunfire Reborn and looking for a guide of all bosses, this guide will share how to defeat Lu Wu, Ichthyosaurus Offspring and Yoruhime-Maru, let’s check it out.

Lu Wu

The main gimmick with this boss fight is that when Lu Wu takes enough damage he will retreat and send bombers/beetles after the player. At low enough health he will never recharge his shield and relentlessly attack the player. The best strategy to fight this boss is to have a shock weapon to deal with his shield and never dash until he throws out an attack. While he is charging his shield it is possible to out damage his regen.

Rock Throw Attack: This attack is simple to dodge just dash outside of the red circle but be mindful of any nearby explosive barrels since this attack can detonate them.
Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

Laser Fire: This attack is very difficult to dodge, the only consistent way to avoid taking damage is to take cover behind the two pillars in the arena. The good news is that the animation has a long start up so when you see him aim his hand at you start dashing to the closest pillar.
Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

Melee attack: If the player gets close enough to Lu Wu he will raise his fist in the air and hit the ground dealing massive damage to the surrounding area. The best way to avoid this attack is to dash backwards from him when he raises his fist in the air.
Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

Leap Attack: Lu Wu leaps into the air and lands on the ground hitting everything around him. This attack is very random because he won’t always land where the player is standing. The best way to avoid the attack is to dash toward his original location.

Ichthyosaurus Offspring

The main gimmick with Ichthyosaurus Offspring is that it will litter the arena with corrosive goo that will make every other attack nearly impossible to avoid. Ichthyosaurus Offspring has a layer of armor protecting it so bringing a corrosive weapon will make the boss fight a bit easier. Another thing to note is that he has a huge crit spot which makes shotguns another great choice for fighting him. If you stand too close to Ichthyosaurus Offspring he will slap you with his tail but you need to be standing within hugging distance.

Mouth laser Attack: To dodge this attack you must stand very close to the boss and don’t move. Then when the boss starts to do the attack animation, dash the opposite direction and move away from the laser.
Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

Bite Attack: dodging this attack is pretty straight forward just dash and move out of the red area.

Goo Launch Attack: The projectiles can be destroyed very quickly with a gun that has a high rate of fire or AoE capabilities. Allowing the projectiles to hit the ground will make the fight a lot harder.

Shockwave attack: This attack can be very tricky to dodge but the best way to avoid getting hit is to be standing on the ground then jump and dash at the peak of the jump toward the shockwave. Note that the closer you are to the tail the harder the attack will be to avoid.
Gunfire Reborn How to Defeat All bosses Guide (Contains Spoilers)

Yoruhime-Maru

The gimmick with this boss fight is that every time the Yoruhime-Maru loses 25% of its Hp it will have a barrier that makes it immune to all damage. To destroy the barrier the player must kill the Octopus that spawns on the left or right of the arena and place the shell that it drops into the cannon.

Cannon Phase: During this phase the player must take out all of the cannons, whenever a cannon is destroyed it will fire a giant spread of projectiles. As long as you are not standing still a majority of the projectiles will not hit you. I would recommend fighting in the middle of the arena because the Octopus can spawn really close to you and gun you down. There will also be mortar fire that will rain down in a horizontal line which can be dodged by dashing out of the way. After the first 25% hp the Yoruhime-Maru will fire projectiles that leave a trail of corrosive goo which can be destroyed with gunfire.

Giant Cannon Phase: During this phase the Yoruhime-Maru will fire a giant cannonball that will create a large explosion when it hits the ground. You should be moving forward at all times and never let the corrosive goo slow you down. Minions will constantly spawn in and should be taken out with grenades so you can focus on the cannon. Also, the mortar fire will be randomly scattered across the arena.

Gunfire Reborn How to Play A Guide For Beginners (Weapons, Talents, Abilities,Tips)

If you are a new player to Gunfire Reborn and do not know where to start, this guide was create to help you, it will explain all you need to know as a beginner, let’s check it out.

GUNS

-You can hold two guns

-Every gun has specific traits that will never change about it, but have many stats that are random (called Inscriptions.)

-Some guns always have a specific elemental damage, and sometimes guns that are normally element-less will have a random element

-Guns will have a +X in their title indicating how much they are upgraded, and this stat is purely a damage increase

-Guns can be unlocked (Information on how can be found in the Armory at the main menu)

-Guns use different ammo types. Normal (Green), Heavy (Blue), Special (Yellow)

-Some weapons have alternate fires, used with RMB. You can see all of your weapon’s stats, infusions, and alt-fires by pressing TAB and hovering over your weapon.

SCROLLS

-Scrolls are upgrades to your character that will persist through the entire run unless specifically stating otherwise (i.e. scrolls that give you revives and break after an amount)

-Scrolls can have strong upsides along with strong downsides, and any scroll that you pick up from a chest of enemy drop can be discarded in the inventory

-Scrolls have different rarities, increasing in power as they increase in rarity

-Cursed Scrolls have only downsides and they cannot be discarded, but can only be gained through certain chests that specify a chance to drop them

ABILITIES

-Your character has three abilities, your Special (E), your Grenade (Q), and your dash (SHIFT)

-Grenades have no cooldown but rely on green-sphere ammo pickups, while your Dash and Special have timed cooldowns and no ammo

-Certain scrolls and upgrades can grant abilities more “charges,” which just means the ability can store another copy of itself. Grenades start with 3 charges, and your other abilities have one unless upgraded

CHESTS

-Chests are boxes that can contain scrolls, weapons, and golden goblets

-Golden Goblets give you 3 options for random character upgrades

-Red / Orange chests offer trades for various upgrades, commonly Occult Scrolls and weapon tweaks. Occult Scrolls are guaranteed Epic / Legendary scrolls.

-Chests also contain ammo, money, and Soul Essence

-Vaults are colored cracks in the wall that contains a room with a challenge and a chest at the end. The vault portal will not change the stage, and are simply side-missions to the stage you are on. Some vaults and stages have an extra challenge that will display at the top-right of the screen

ENEMIES

-There are 3 types of enemies, normal enemies (typically noted by having a short, regular name), elite enemies (high health, adjectives before normal name), and bosses (end of each level)

-Different Elements do more damage to different enemy defenses. Corrosive damage deals bonus to Armor (Yellow healthbars), Lightning damage deals bonus to shields (Blue Healthbars) and Fire damage does bonus to flesh (Red healthbars)

-It is critically important to prioritize stronger enemies first, such as the snipers of the sand level or Longbowmen of the first level

TALENTS

-Talents are permanent upgrades that follow all characters through runs, even after death

-Talents are purchased after death using the blue currency “Soul Essence” gathered through the run

-Your Talent Level is the amount of talents you’ve purchased, no matter the price of the talent (A talent that costs 100 essence gives just one Talent Level)

-Soul essence can also be used for one self-revive during play (This cost increases significantly in each level)

MULTIPLAYER

-Items are clientside, meaning your partner(s) will not see the items that drop for you, so you aren’t able to snatch up items from your friends. You don’t have to worry about taking anything from anyone. However, you can discard guns and scrolls from your inventory to drop them on the ground for anyone to take

-If your partners die, they have a relatively short time of being downed, where anyone on the team can revive them by tapping F on them and waiting. You cannot move while reviving or else it will be cancelled

-If a teammate dies and isn’t revived in time, they will die for the rest of the stage and will come back with their items in the next one

-I highly recommend saving your soul-essence self-revive for absolute emergencies

TIPS

-Gaining additional ability charges is very powerful, especially if you can grab other scrolls and upgrades that synergize with that ability (i.e. gaining dash charges along with gaining crits after dashing)

-In single-player, it is important to have element diversity to make sure you can take down different types of enemies, but in multiplayer it can be quite fun and powerful to specialize into one element using the +40% damage upgrade goblets

-Focus on a weapon’s inscriptions more than its +X stat, since you can always spend gold to upgrade your weapon at the tinkerer

-Past the first stage, don’t be ashamed to let a run die. Typically revives cost nearly 60 soul essence as you get later into the run which could mean losing out on very strong talent(s) with that essence

-Don’t be afraid to play slow in the Sand level. The enemies in the stage have very long range, and can sometimes one-shot players. Find some cover, take shots, and keep your shields high
