As part of Paris Game Week, Microsoft reveals two more titles coming to Game Pass, with one in January 2023 and the other coming ‘soon.’

Xbox Game Pass just added new games for November, but that did not stop Microsoft from announcing two more games that will be joining the service in the coming months. Announced at Paris Games Week 2022, a new title has been confirmed for January 2023 while a second game has only been dated as coming “soon.” Both of the upcoming titles are expected to be day one releases for Xbox Game Pass, which just had another surprise day one release on the service.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Roboquest will be joining Xbox Game Pass in January 2023 after being in early access since July 2020. The FPS roguelite currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 89% of reviews being “Overwhelmingly Positive.” In Roboquest players can choose from multiple classes to emphasize their own personal style which can be further adjusted with persistent upgrades and custom-builds. Roboquest will be joining fellow critical hit roguelite Vampire Survivors on Xbox Game Pass upon its day one release.

Announced alongside Roboquest is that Dune: Spice Wars will be added to Xbox Game Pass on PC at a later date. The 4X strategy game Dune: Spice Wars launched in early access back in April where it has earned a rating of “Very Positive” on Steam. Players can take control of one of four different factions –House Atreides, House Harkonnen, the Smugglers, and the Fremen– as they fight for control of the vast spice reserves on Arrakis. Upcoming updates to Dune: Spice Wars will bring air units, space ports, and faction-specific Councilor units with special capabilities.

Titles already announced for this month include Football Manager 2023, Return to Monkey Island, Vampire Survivors on console, Obsidian’s latest game Pentiment, Somerville, Gungrave G.O.R.E., and Warhammer 40K Darktide. Microsoft has surprised gamers before with surprise releases so more games may be coming to Xbox Game Pass later this month. Two of the announced games, Pentiment and Somerville, are Xbox-exclusive titles.

In addition to announcing games coming to the service, Microsoft has also announced titles leaving Xbox Game Pass during the month of November. Football Manager 2022 is leaving on November 8 followed a week later by Art of Rally, Fae Tactics, Next Space Rebels, One Step from Eden, and Supraland. With room being made on Xbox Game Pass for more titles, further day one release announcements from Microsoft or other additions to its flagship service can be expected at any time.
